A building behind its brand.
ME Group are an international market leader in automated self-service equipment, with technology sited in high streets, supermarkets and transport hubs worldwide. When Photo-Me became ME Group, the name was built to carry everything the business had grown into.
The Epsom headquarters had not moved with it. Well located and perfectly capable, but it said nothing about the company inside. Working alongside their in-house team, we were asked to close that gap.
The exterior is seen first.
The exterior of the building is what people see first, so it needs to stand out and reflect the brand. A full height photographic panel wraps the corner, faces first, so the building leads with people rather than product.
We also replaced the old signage out the front of the building, installing bold new ME Group lettering.
Reception
Reception used to be white panelling and a small plaque,
a space that asked visitors to wait rather than look.
We wrapped the full wall in a bespoke graphic, black and white portraits set against a tonal ME pattern, then mounted halo illuminated 3D lettering over the top.
The logo sits proud of the surface and lights the wall behind it. First thing seen, first thing remembered.
Corridors
Every corridor counts.
Blocks of orange and blue break the run into sections, each one given over to a part of the business: Photo.ME, Wash.ME, Feed.ME and Amuse.ME. Large scale black and white photography sits alongside short explanatory copy.
The walk between meetings is now vibrant, and the corridors tells you what ME Group do and what their values are.
Stairwell
Making easy.
The stairwell now carries the company mantra at full height,
set against the brand’s letterforms cascading down the wall. Dead space on the route between floors, now doing a job.
Glass partitions
Glass that works harder.
We replaced the existing partitions with a multicoloured ME pattern that holds the same privacy at desk height while pulling the brand into every sightline. The offices read as one connected space rather than a set of grey boxes.
A brand made physical.
Every element here was printed, supplied and installed by us. Wall wraps, glass manifestation,
built up letters, halo illumination and external signage, all produced in house and fitted with
one point of contact and one standard of finish.
A brand is not finished when the logo is signed off.
It has to survive the walk from the car park to the desk. At their Epsom offices, the ME Group name now lands at every point of that journey.
